While the rest of the touring bus patrons were rummaging through the awesome Revolutionary War Museum at Yorktown, I escaped and footed it a mile or so in ninety-degree heat on a personal quest. I needed to visit historic Grace Episcopal Church cemetery in search of long ago ancestors, which I was successful. After viewing sacred plots and church, I was about done in, but luckily found the Mobjack Coffee store in the historic Pate House. One of the nine of the pre-revolutionary war houses left in Yorktown. What a treat. I quickly got a large spice iced tea and then had to skedaddle back to the museum before the bus left me. I wish I had more time since their sandwiches and other vittles looked scrumptious. Don’t miss out on this spot for sightseeing and wetting your whistle!
