After a Doc visit, we needed to find a place to eat rather quickly before the lunchtime crowd moved in, and the lines begin to form quickly. We were near a place I had wanted to try for a long time. I had seen the sign for this place for almost forever, on my trek to Monroe, but have never stopped. Was it due to its rather dilapidated look, not sure, but I heard over the last couple of years the burgers were to die for. When we walked in, I still wasn’t exactly sure. There was a good amount of bar patrons swelling the good stuff before noon. To tell you the truth I had a hankering in that direction too! Anyway, I can say frankly, don’t judge the book by the cover or initial inside page either for that matter, cause the food hype was correct on all accounts. I had the Garden Burger, which is an all the way burger, and Annabelle had a Dog the same way. Both was cooked to perfecto with toasted bun. Don’t see that often and the home-made Rings were right on. Washed it all down with a half and half while the Belle had a Golden Girl Soda. Service was excellent and yes it could very well be the Mac Daddy Burger of the Metro area and shall return and you should too. Don’t wait and pass it a multitude of times and not stopping like I did!
