When making a swing out of Cigarette City back to the homestead I often make run here for some barbecue in Tyro. It is a legacy “Stamey” namesake that, as it should, serves up some pretty good Q and fixins. I had the Lexington style chopped hickory smoked sandwich with red slaw and a side of Okra. I added at little vinegar piedmont dip which added a little more heat to the already moist meat. Washed it down with some half & half. Certainly, a satisfying lunch before my trek down I-85. Don’t miss this place if you happen to be in the vicinity!
