When I take the spur off the McMullen Greenway to Ballantyne, I usually head to The Bowl for something to eat. Other times, I pass through the quiet office park and continue south to explore. Either way, I eventually work up an appetite, so I check Apple Maps to see what is nearby. Sometimes there is not much of interest, but this time I found Lee’s Hoagie House—and I’m glad I did. I made my way through the neighborhoods without having to deal with Highway 521 and ended up at a great spot. I had an Italian hoagie with a pepper spread that was outstanding, along with a good half-and-half tea. Well fed and ready to ride again, I got back on my way. If you are in the area, it is well worth a stop.
