At Pawley’s, we sometimes have seafood overload and must march off in a different direction. Generally, this means eating something from the landlubbers’ menu. Italiano often fills in the gap here; this year, Gios fit the bill. I started the fare with some delicious meatballs as an appetizer, followed by a house salad and some delightful veal parmigiana. Quite the feast, to say the least. I could barely crawl to the door and then off to bed after some nightcaps. I hope you enjoy it too! Buon Appetito!
(Pawley’s is always a fantastic trip, and much is due to our host and hostess’s well-thought agenda. Besides all the foody activities, we have a beach of time with bocce ball, biking, and walking the surf for exercise. Also still looking for that megalodon shark tooth of a prize!)
