On my annual August pilgrimage to Winston to see the WSO ATP tournament, I am always inclined to stop on the way up and eat Q in Lexington. However, once settling down for the event, I must get my Putters fix. It is a well-known Wake Forest icon eatery located close to the campus, if not on it. All their sandwiches are good, but the one for me is the medium-rare Prime Rib Sandwich. It is out of this world and comes with Rings that are also quite delectable. Usually, wash it down at lunch with H&H tea, but if stopping by in the evening, I generally have a crafty or two! So, if you are at the tournament or visiting Old Salem, I would suggest giving this place a whirl or two. (The Buffalo Chicken sandwich ain’t too shabby either!)
