I got hungry for some oysters and looked for some specials being hawked here in the Queen City. Rock Salt caught my eye, and we decided on a lark to visit. This location would not be on my usual take since it was on the somewhat trendy “spensive” side, but what the heck, time to live a little. Glad we did. Got a dozen raw on the half shell of three different types from Virginny. They were excellent. Since I was still in the eating mode, I decided on the trio of grilled oysters, miso butter, chipotle bbq butter, and Rockefeller. All were quite good and satisfying to the palate. Also, I had a few brewskis to wash down this wonderful fare. I would recommend it to all, especially during the happy hour timeframe!
