My daughter and son-in-law took us out to eat here for my wife’s birthday. Wow, I thought this would be pretty much like the mainstay Mama Ricotta’s, but smaller as the name implied. Boy, was I in for a shocker. The family atmosphere was replaced by a more modern and eclectic atmosphere of a fine upscale Italian eatery. Of course, I started with the traditional Peroni but jumped right in with sharing appetizer portions from the Mozzarella Bar, which were magnifico! Then followed it up with the Lasagna with a wonderful wood smoke taste. All considered this was a fine feast. So regardless of whether you go to the Big or Small Mama’s this is a wonderful way to mellow out while feasting on good eats!
