When I trek down the McMullen Greenway to SC I often take the spur heading toward Ballantyne on my return route. It is fun to trek and explore what’s happening in that neck of the woods, or should I say corporate neighborhood. Anyway, it is easy riding behind any of those buildings, and I am more than likely headed to the Bowl anyway for some chow. Depending on what I had recently had or what’s coming up at the homestead it usually steers me to beef or chicken. In this particular scenario, it is beef, and there is no better place for some quick eats than Harriet’s Hamburgers. I usually opt for the OG Burger, but the other two are mighty fine too. The OG is a smash burger that, of course, smashes in onions, pickles, cheese, and their special sauce. Since I am biking, I don’t want to load up too much, so I skip the sides, but I really want to try them at some point. Can’t wait to get there again. Note also that this is a Charlotte chain, but I have never been to its other locations; I guess it is good eats there too! So try them out, and I will also!
