What can I say; this place is an institution in the upstate of South Cakalacca. An icon of an bygone era that could be defined by simpler times and entertainment. However, this drive/eat-in is still booming for those seeking this nostalgia atmosphere and a decent burger. Located close to the heart of Sparkle City it is a class of its own for sure. You line up to order and depending on the crowd, it could be at the door. At the counter be prepared to deliver your order immediately to the caller when he barks “What you want” and then yells it to the rest of the staff. Since the Missus was first in line the caller about scared her to death, but I was ready and gave my order in record speed. That what a little OJT and pre call planning does for you! Anyway had a good pimento burger, some interesting rings and sweeter than sweet tea. Great experience wouldn’t have missed it for the world (especially the look on the wife’s face at the counter) Hope you want either, so stop by if you are in the vicinity!
