Wow this place looks the part and acts the part of a local dive with good eats! The ambience of the place was certainly set by its 60’s/70’s diner decor. With a solid suggestion from Ironman I had a pimento burger and onion rings with of course half and half tea. Now as we all know pimento burgers have sprung on every Tom, Dick, and Harry southern restaurant menus like fried green tomatoes and are becoming somewhat passé. However, but let me tell you I believe this pimento burger is the best if not DE BEST. I think it has to do with the homemade pimento cheese. I think it might be made with white sharp cheese, not sure, but I know it is sharp and know that it is good. The rings were up to snuff and not that prefab crap. So there you have it. A great eat establishment. Not sure if everything else is as good, but by the crowd on the inside and the walk from the parking lot my guess that you probably can’t go wrong.
