After eating at Speedy Lohr’s (Lexington location) I knew it was time to get back to posting again. This place was awesome in terms of Lexington style eats. Also as an added plus it is open on Sunday’s while most of the Q places around this locale are not so obliging. We started out with a basket of puppies and some half and half tea. These puppies were smaller and rounder than the usual Lexington fare, but quite tasty and sweet. Should perhaps maybe be called Puppy Poppers. So after these it was on to the main dish of a coarse Q sandwich with slaw and a side of 0kra with of course more puppies. The Q was quite moist and well versed in sauce and red slaw which made it quite succulent. The okra side was hot off the grill and up to snuff for sure. All in all a well-rounded meal and I can’t wait to return!
