When I need a Philly fix I head to Steak’n Hoagie. They have three locations in the Charlotte area, but I go most often to the one in Matthews. All their Philly’s are great, but my favorite is a special they run every few weeks. It is called an Egghead. As might be imagined it is Philly Cheesesteak with a fried egg mixed in with the melted cheese. Terrifico!!! This is my favorite, but beside the other Philly’s I like the Italian Hoagie and Gyro sandwich. All are wickedly good. The side I get is either the fries or rings depending upon the mood and of course some ice cold tea. My guess is everything they make there is good. Also, the price is right. So give them a shot. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
