After facing sweltering heat hunting down ancestors located somewhere between Turkey Quarter and Perfection, we needed a respite. After dropping off our luggage at the Inlet Inn in Historic Beaufort, we scurried to dine at Moonraker’s. I started things off with a colder-than-cold Boom Kicker Kolsch and ordered the Mussels with a Kale Salad Caesar. All were delicious, and I only wish that I could had more, but those puppies were still hanging heavy from lunch. Maybe next time, it will be different. Que Sarah Sarah!
You should give it a whirl if you have never been to the Inlet Inn in Beaufort. There is an excellent view of the harbor from the rooms. What a delight watching the activity on the docks while you imbibe. Also, lots to do in Beaufort and surrounding areas as to historical sites, shell hunting, coastal cruises, shopping, and sampling the coastal cuisine
