We hiked the Graveyard Fields trail on a chilly morning, slightly off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our trek stirred up a rumbling appetite and called for our usual hiking lunch haunt of Oskar Blues. Unfortunately, it was lunchtime and slap crowded. Luckily, Ecusta had opened a location nearby that satisfied our food cravings. Besides brews, Ecusta is aligned with Gordingo’s Kitchen for food offerings. I had a good-sized pork burrito loaded with the usual beans, cheese, rice, etc., and topped off with a porter. It was a good fit, and it stopped those food shakes. When we are up there again, It will be a hard choice between Ecusta and Oskar for our feasting!
(As to the trail, we didn’t see any Ghost Riders in the sky, nor thankfully any bears for that matter. But it is a nice loop hike that has waterfalls and some rather good sights.)
