This place is a great date night venue, especially if you make a reservation in advance! Go here at least once or twice a year and also the “Original” location in Winston. What a treat. I used to get the Fried Oysters, but they seemed to have disappeared from the menu. Too bad, but no worries, cause they are other excellent treats. Our party started with the Crab Dip, and then Annabelle opted for the Trout and me the Braised Meatball Skillet. Both were a delight. Topping off things, someone had the Butter Cake. Wonder who that was? Anyway, another great night at the Tavern!
