This is one dandy bbq restaurant(s). Has three locations in respectable barbecue NC towns of Concord, Monroe, and Salisbury. I haven’t had a chance to visit the Salisbury location yet, but found the other ones very good. Mostly I have stopped off at the Concord location after playing tennis with Wimpy at the Sportscenter, but for this post it was Monroe with the wife. Both I have visited are more nouveau Q in terms of offerings and price. However, do not let that deter you since they give really hefty portions, which the wife cannot entirely consume. Used to be in my younger days I would just add on her leftovers to my feast, but nowadays, more than likely I take them home for another time. This suits me just fine since heats up well, especially utilizing the new air fryer for the puppies! In any case each time I partaken at the Smoke Pit I have not deviated from my order of pulled pork sandwich with red slaw, okra, puppies and of course half and half tea. All were above par and no doubt I will visit often when in the vicinity. Hope you will too!
