There are two sites for Country BBQ’s, one in High Point and one in Greensboro. Both quite good. The Greensboro site was one of my first searches for Q in the late 80’s. Finding good Q was much harder to come by back then since Gore hadn’t discovered the Web yet (guess he was still hung up on thinking he was in “Love Story”). In any event without maps or reviews it made our quests much harder, but somewhat more rewarding since we were more than likely starving by the time we would found a joint.
My more recent visit to Country finds things pretty much the same, thank you sir. Little more modern, but still some dandy Q. Had the regular fare of Q sandwich with red slaw, puppies and washed all down with some good ole southern half and half tea. I left quite satisfied and no doubt will be back when I am in the vicinity.
