Wow, this was an experience. Drove from Elizabethtown, Ky to Owensboro before Dandy Don’s first deployment. So I can definitely now say this was Destination Q at its best. Biggest cue place I have ever visited. (well in the great to good category anyway). You could order by sandwich and sides, but we wanted the buffet. Had mostly the mutton Q they are famous for and it lived up to challenge. Also, had the pork, beef, and pork ribs.plus the sides of cream corn, green beans, broccoli casserole, and of course sweet tea. Before I had my end dish of banana pudding I tried the Burgoo stew (basically highly seasoned Brunswick Stew) which was excellent. Not sure when I will get back there again, but was no doubt worth the trip.
