Hendersonville is our go-to alternative when the weather disrupts our hiking plans or we need a day off. One reason is the Appalachian Pinball Museum, where you can play all day for one low price. The other is Brooks Tavern, a favorite spot for good food and a couple of pints. I usually order the Reuben—no surprise there—and enjoy its generous thick-cut meat, which sets it apart from the usual deli-style version. Served on toasted marbled rye with house chips, it makes for quite a satisfying meal. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water!
Hey don’t forget to play Pinball!!!
