After dropping Sis off at Airport, we had an audacious idea. Although still rather early, why not visit the Barbecue King on Wilkinson. Quite close, and we had not been there in years. Glad we did because it brought back fond memories of those bygone years of drive-in diners. The electronic menu was out of order, but a nice gentleman came out to the car stall and took our order. I opted for a Sandwich and a side of puppies. The moist “minced” sandwich was somewhat semi-piedmont with vinegar sauce and semi-white slaw. Now the puppies were of the golf ball variety and were delish. Needless to say, this place still has its MOJO for sure. So go ahead and pop in some “Rock Around the Clock” and make a beeline to this place!
