Quite an interesting place. Has all the attributes of a fine Q dining establishment which it supplies most aptly. Definitely has dive status and order from the register is the mode of purchasing which makes takeout quite easy. One of walls is adorned with a family tree “Briar Patch (see pic) of Lexington Barbecue restaurants which makes for interesting reading. We had Q chopped sandwiches with red slaw and vinegar sauce. The Q had a Lexington bent, but less finely chopped and perhaps not as moist. Along with sweet tea, our sides were puppies, fried pickles, and rings. All proved worthy of the aforementioned “Briar Patch” restaurants. Can’t wait to get there again. However, please be forewarned that this place is small and so is the parking lot. It is best to get there early or late on weekdays. But, do not let this put you off because it well worth the effort for Q addicts!
