I had wanted to try to this restaurant for the past 5 years or so. My trips or timing never seemed to match their limited weekly schedule. In any extent I finally got my chance and it was delight. The restaurant resides on a ridge near a shopping center. The restaurant is made to look like an old timey two story log cabin. Years seem to slip by to a simpler time and place when we passed through the door. With this ambience in mind the hostess and waitresses were dressed to match the historical look of the building, table and other accoutrements. I had the T-loin pork sandwich with slaw and potato salad for my side. All washed down with half and half tea. All portions were generous. I saw other patrons scoffing down other menu items that looked delicious. My guess is that all are quite good. No doubt I will stop sometime in the near future to partake. Very worthwhile for the 10 or so minutes that it took to get there from I-20. If you get a chance give it whirl. Don’t think you will be disappointed!
