Well I would never have thought a “Destination Q” place would be in Atlanta, but that teaches me to think.  Anyway, that is the way it turned out, so let it be written and let it be told!  Fox Brothers Barbecue was a delight.  It’s a relatively young barbecue joint by cue standards and has been in existence for only a mere four years.  It specializes in southern barbecue with a decidedly Texas bent.  They also had what looked like some other fine items on the menu and a good brew selection. I opted for the combination platter of pork and brisket with Texas red style sauce.  Fried Okra was on the menu, but I was told that if it ain’t fresh they don’t cook it.  I can certainly appreciate this tude, so I copped out of the greens also, and decided on the slaw and hand battered rings accompanied by some half and half tea.  All were excellent.  This is a great Q joint and I would certainly drive out of my way to partake. Thus “Destination Q”!   However, make sure you get there early with a pocketful of cash cause the line will get long and the fares are excellent but they ain’t cheap.
