Upon a huge thunderstorm we decided to forego our planned Pisgah hike and tackle the arduous DuPont Forest trail. As usual it provided magnificent waterfall scenery that is certainly a thing of beauty. After our very dangerous paved trail stroll we were famished and needed some morsels before heading off into our different directions. Pappy suggested the Cedar Mountain Cafe for our noon day feast and it was an awesome choice. After much deliberation I settled on the Philly sandwich and fries with some ice cold half and half tea. The rest of the cabal had the Catfish sandwich. What I had was gosh darn awesome and they claimed the same. With this unanimous decision I have decided to rate this as a “GREAT EATS” place right on the spot. So if you are in the Brevard vicinity I heartily recommend this establishment. Go there and be blessed with great eats!
